film: ANNIKA

I have been trying to locate a film that was on tv in 1984 called "ANNIKA" It starred a girl called Annika Sellberg played by Christina Rigner, the writer/producer was Colin Nutley. The film was about a sweedish girl on the Isle of wight who made friends with a lad and after a short while they both returned to Sweeden. Could anyone advise me of where to get hold of this much sought after film ? Cheers.

"Annika" was not a film but rather a mini-series comprising 3 x 60 minute episodes. I believe it has never been released on video nor DVD, although memorabletv may be a help.

According to this post on another board there were copies being auctioned on eBay about 3 weeks ago. Maybe you can contact the poster.

I managed to get a copy of this, converted from vhs to dvd. Quality isn't excellent but it's watchable. watching it brought back many memories as I was only 13 when this was on tv.

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie. I DO have all 3 episodes recorded onto DVD - can't sell them on Ebay due to copyright issues. However, anyone who wants it could email me [email protected] & we can come to an arrangement.

The picture quality isn't brilliant (it was originally recorded onto a VHS tape) but is watchable.
