45 minutes in,and it bears no resemblance to the book....the beginning is totally different. Don't think I am going to bother watching after all.

I enjoyed it a lot - although i have rather simple tastes. - have to admit i have not read the book (but this is on my list to read), but it was an easy watching programme on a Sunday night, something that doesn't require too much thinking about on the night before a return to work.
And just cause it was after nine, doesn't automatically mean that there should be more violence or sex does it, i quite liked the fact that it wasn't too sexy.
