What happened to Janine on Eastenders

A follow on to the thread posted on this section a week or two ago about what happened to her and will she be back for a xmas episode trial?

Well new info for u, her trial is indeed coming up and will be at the end of this year, however charlie brooks that played janine will not be appearing during it as she sees no wish to return to the soap at this time, but her father in the soap, Frank Butcher has just been signed up to make an appearance on Walford Square under the premise that he is there for his daughters trial. So expect scenes with him discussing the trial and janine but no actual janine appearing
