Also when it's on it's a losing battle trying to stay awake for Match of the Day to come on. Furthermore we all know all the actors speak perfect English so why don't they make a voiceover version for us ignorant monoglot Brits so we can hear the dialogue while we're opening our next can of Danish lager?
Full marks for the first TV shot of an actor masturbating while his sister who has cancer is getting into bed! Full marks too for inventing a virus that replicates in red blood cells which is scientifically laughable because RBCs have no DNA so no virus can multiply there!
But full marks for being different and thus for jaded cynics like me surprisingly watchable.
What was the bit at the end with the coffee cup in the bag? Can we look forward to the blonde nymphomaniac sociopath visiting Martin in prison in the next series, looking for the kind of exisistential redemption from him that he was seeking when he went to confront his own son's murderer in prison?
Bridges eh! Seems like they are almost fractionally as significant as Channel tunnels are to us British who know that soon whatever British used to be will disappear.

I suspect the cost of doing voiceovers is prohibitive...and the UK would not be the only country that would "need" it. Besides...you need to concentrate...not a bad thing. ;-)
I wasn't really Saga shopped Martin...in spite of admitting he was her only friend. She sees things very much in black and white.
And Colmc54...why refer to Saga ( if that is who you are referring to )in such nasty terms. Obviously you do not understand her. Its known that she probably is on the Asbergers spectrum.

Colm obviously didn't "get" it - no need to spoil it for the rest of us, though!
We've just watched yesterday's episodes as we were out last night. Brilliant - another cliffhanger ending. Saga 9in her mind) didn't have any choice about shopping Martin - she doesn't know how to prevaricate or not to be brutally honest. Excellent - can't wait for #3!

Absolutely brilliant series and thankfully not dubbed. And, as for the ending, we don't NEED to know who shot Gertrud. Unless that is the plot for the third series, if we knew who shot her, we would then need to know what happened to the killer. Believe it or not, some crimes do go unsolved. signed, the REAL 'Jack The Ripper'
I think we aren't meant to know as this could be possibly the base of the plot for the next series.
I wasn't sure whether Gertrud and Oliver were working together or whether it was a coincidence they were both involved. Also, I think there's something unfinished concerning the relationship between the couple who were not getting on - he bought her a boob job for her birthday. His wife went 'thoughtful' when the name of a company was mentioned - was it his company, something chemicals. Sorry, can't express what I mean. She was in charge of the Summit meeting. I thought he might play a bigger part than he did; as I say, perhaps next series.
Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wondered how Saga knew that Martin had disposed of the coffee cup in that specific bin, though.

Helly - I was just going to post on that very thing - the coffee cup. Superb series in every respect but the coffee cup thing was implausible. Saga didn't know that Martin took coffee to Jens did she? And for an experienced cop like Martin not to have destroyed the evidence more thoroughly is a bit unlikely.
But I loved the series - and hope for more.

Saga sees into things that others may not see, probably to do with the Aspergers. Martin had not been seen for a while and when he did show up she remembered later on seeing him with the coffee cup, so went looking to see if any of the vials were missing. Martin did admit to her after his wife ended it that Jens was still in his head.
