What are we all going to do after the final of Big Brother?  How will we fill our evenings?  What will take over the Film & TV section of Answerbank?  I hear that the new series of the X Factor is due soon, are we all going to swap over to ITV?

I'm a celeb starts in november!
I will personally celebrate the fact that it's over as I loathe it with a vengence.
me too Mortartube- we might actually get some questions worth answering in this section, as opposed to the current 'I hate Makosi' diatribe..

I'm with Mortartube and Georgit79, I'll be delighted to see the back of it.

Even though I don't watch it, I'm fed up with people trying to get my opinion on it. I particularly despise myself for having picked up the worthless contestant's worthless names despite my lack of interest.

Agree with the previous three posts and anyone who is not of a similar opinion really should get out more and concentrate on their own lives instead of getting over excited about a bunch of socially extreme wannabes.
Me too! I know what all of them are called even though I haven't watched a single second of it...annoying!
Grrrr - so my planned wild celebrations at the imminent end of yet another Big Brother and the prospect of this section no longer being filled with BB crap are cut short by the prospect of this section being filled with X Factor crap instead. Aaaarrrgghhh!!! As for I'm A Non-Entity, don't get me started....(suffice it to say that I have issued a fatwah on Ant and Dec for resurrecting the "career" of Peter Andre).
Well considering that all the posts for this topic have been that of a negative opinion on BB, I'll give my positive opinion. I think it's a great show, this has been one of the best series by far, and the contestants have provided some brilliant entertainment! Though I can't say I will be too upset when it goes, as I will be able to go back to my normal life lol! I don't think it's fair to say that people who watch it have no life, and should get out more, as millions of people stay in at night to watch tv, it just so happens that our choiec of programmes to watch is Big Brother, and there's nothing wrong with that.
I loved BB but il still be glad when its over,Its took over my life il be so glad to get back to normal,But i still cant wait for all the other reality tv to start,( I realy need to get a life).

I knew i would get mixed views but i didnt think i would get a barrage of negative comments to begin with.  I know everyone has very different tastes and i suppose the world would be a boring place if we all like the same stuff!  So for everyone who is against Big brother, i hope friday brings you closure, and for all those fans (including me) i hope friday brings you excitement!

Three *** stars all round

I am really looking forward to the final of BB - can't wait to see the looser's faces!

But this doesn't mean I have no life - I'm busy every eveing and enjoy coming home and relaxing watching half an hour of random people!

People who think we have no life for enjoying it should be able to accept what other people enjoy! You've obviuosly got a lot of time to spare searching for questions worthy of your answers!!!

I agree dippy_dumbo. It's socially fashionable to shun big brother "I don't watch that crap" etc etc. as if watching a reality TV show is purile... however, a lot can be learned from this programme. And some contestants serve as good anti-role models. People should see the way that Craig and Makosi behave and vow to never display those character traits. They should also see kind-hearted Eugene... my heart melted when he said "i'd rather be known for saying thankyou than F**k off"!!! Classic!!
It's socially fashionable to shun big brother

So you don't think that maybe, just maybe, people say they don't like Big Brother because they genuinely don't like it? I'm perfectly capable of making up my own mind, and my dislike for the programme has nothing to do with social trends. I expect the same goes for many people who dare to suggest that BB is not a work of genius.

As for the question "What will take over the Film & TV section of Answerbank? ", well I'd like to think nothing will "take over", though I've a horrible feeling X Factor questions might. I'd like to think we'll have a nice wide variety of questions on a wide range of films and TV programmes. That is, after all, what the section is meant for.

..I guess that after Friday, I will just have to go out and gert myself a life....

..failing that "Lost" starts tomorrow...

How come when I read that answer from ermintrude35 I heard the John Williams Jaws music in my head!
