one of the worse programmes for licentious behaviour, and criminality, hardly anyone has escaped prison, or had an affair with some one in the village, it should be renamed village of the damned.
I'm not a prude by any stretch of the imagination, but my friends and I were talking about the soaps the other night, and for programmes which are aired LONG before the watershed, they give out really bad examples of grown-up behaviour. It's like a merry- go-round of affairs with everybody in every house having had sex with every member of every other house in the street/village etc etc. Sorry to sound like Mary Whitehouse but......
There was a scene a few weeks ago when Leila was trying to explain to Jake how she was his mother and she asked him 'do you know what an affair is?' has to laugh, he ought to, he's lived in Emmerdale long enough.

its not always true that the first thing you would do is get a test, sometimes not knowing seems an easier option. some people who find a lump or suchlike don't go and get tested because they are afraid of the truth.
Agree, could be good storyline but scripted dreadfully Hate it when Val talks about "having the clap" and "going to the clap clinic" not the way to get any message across.
the village is like one bonking merry go round, who has slept with who, has anyone been left out, and now the new boy on the block James, who was in corrie, is in love with Moira but is having it off with Charity, and who hasn't she had, anyone's guess.
