Hurray Daybreak to be axed. No more wittering from Aled Jones and Lorraine Kelly. They talked over each other accompanied by her stupid giggling. And I could never understand a word she said. So its to be Good Morning Britain again with Susannah Reid and the lovely Ben Shepherd back.

Programmes like the One Show are okay for the time they are shown. Many people are not long in from work and are preparing dinner etc....

If I watch the tv early in the morning, I can't be doing with adverts every 10 minutes or so. I always watch BBC.
Having to put up with them in the evening is enough for me.

the two presenting should go, whiny Matt Baker, and the dippy Alex Jones, a clone of Christine Bleakley, their input on the show is negligible, and the fact remains it's used to promote any BBC production, the actors who come on do it, as do some who want to flog their book, or film, free advertising

Aled Jones has always looked like an android rabbit caught in headlights with his rictus smile and his buttoned up collars.

The appeal of Lorraine Kelly ceased to interest me years ago.

I have opined on another thread that the arrival of Susanah Reid will be a long-term failure - ITV don't learn about poaching - look at Bleakley and Childs - or rather, do as the nation did - don't look at them!

emmie - The Commissioning Editors tend to believe the press when the burble on about the 'chemistry' between Childs and Bleakley - which instantly evaporated when she started dating Frank lampard!

Now they believe that Susannah Reid is some sort of national sweetheart because she upped her profile on a dance contest - she isn't, and time will prove that.

As I mentioned on my original thread - if i can sit here at my desk and work this out for free, why can't a Commissioning Editor, who does it for a living, and at considerable expense, work it out as well?

Turn the TV off and the radio on !

The Today program beats all of them hands down....very little giggling, no sofas, just serious talk. You have nothing to lose but your ignorance !
