Really very interesting and something different. Love Liz, she is so good and very natural. (Didn't she look different under the special light? Being a blonde just didn't suit her) Who'd have thought that ants would be so interesting. The cute meerkats were the best though!
Missed it - good news, it's repeating tonight (6th March ) at 2200 on BBC4 for anyone interested
My friend and I went to a local wildlife place a few years ago. They had a Meerkat enclosure but the little monsters would escape during the day. Being mugged (for food) by a Meerkat is a unique experience.

We were also followed around by the noisiest and most persistent birds ever - geese. They weren't happy until they got every scrap of food off us.

Animals can be really fascinating. I don't think that they should be kept in captivity - but some of them have a better standard of living than if they were out in the wild being a potential snack by a predator.

Night folks - my bosses have advised me that it is time for bed. One is saying meow but the other says eek. Odd animals.

:-)

Giving her the benefit of the doubt ATM, 'cos she had dental surgery on Monday.
£172 if you please, don't pay MY dentist that much for me !!
I was watching a story about an orphaned baby elephant, one week old, rescued from a disused well by some locals who took it to an animal orphanage. Very moving.
