Just read that Bruce has stepped down from doing next series of Strictly. I think he will be missed as he contributed vastly to the show, lets hope they get a good replacement!

I disagree.............now he's gone I may start watching it.
Never liked him, but don't wish him any harm.
I, for one, will miss him.
Nice to miss him. To miss him, nice.
Brilliant, But you don't get anything for a pun in this game.
I'm glad he's made that decision, he was clearly struggling in the last series to keep up. If the reports of the amount of time it was taking to record the programme are anything to go by the reality was even worse than the edited version.
Mrs Sqad says he's been sacked...................and she knows everything.
Quite keen to know whose going to replace him.
Should have gone years ago along with all his old gags.
Good...he was looking like a complete amateur.
At 86 time to hang up boots I think, beginning to get forgetful and was miffed at audience if they did not react suitably to his jokes.
Oh dear who will replace him ??
I'm with Crafty, might start watching it now :-)
Vernon Kaye ?
I think Adrian Chiles should replace him :-D

I know he has run his course, but I liked Bruce on Strictly he was a good family host, never smutty always professional, maybe Anton Du Bek or Ian Waite would fit in as host, definitely not Graham Norton or John Barrowman.
I liked him too Cari. Happy retirement Brucie x
Matt Baker?
It might be a woman - Claudia Winkleman ?
Bradley Walsh would be good
