Programme has just finished. Anybody seen it. What is your opinion.
Mine - I am sad that EU has opened the doors to many scroungers whilst good people here have worked all their lives, paid their taxes etc and still have difficulty getting benefits.
I could cry.....ELEVEN children!!!!!!
Another couple £500 per week....I have always worked
I have COPD and get nothing except state pension, and a handrail outside my bathroom..great, I need a drink, if I could afford one!
I am not a bigoted person but that programme was certainly an eyeopener. Where my sister lives in Belfast it is groaning with Roma - to think of 37 years of hard work that I too have done only to pay for outsiders is a bit sickening. I am counting up to 10 too.
They should all be rounded up, shipped back and the door firmly closed in their faces!! Thanks,EU, you have done us no favours whatsoever. If the program doesn't produce some UKIP converts I don't know what will.
About 130 years ago much the same things were being said about the Jews who were coming here from Russia. They have contributed much to our society. Give the Roma a chance, and time, and they'll do the same.
The dad in that family stole food from the supermarket to make his salads.
The young man was offered honest work but said he wanted to go out stealing instead. ...say no more.
The thing is,Sandy, whilst I agree with you about the Jews, the situation we have in the country today is considerably different in as much as we cannot afford, either financialy or materialy to take any more imigrants regardless of where they come from.
roma haven't much of a track record re contributing to society, sandy. jews were asylum seekers, not economic migrants. I really cant understand why some people on here continually try to defend the indefensible.
