this is an engrossing, enthralling drama, i confess i haven't seen anything this good for years. Sarah Lancashire is a wonder in it, i wish that we could see more of this type of programme, it is violent and has lots of eyes closed moments, but this should be a benchmark for others to follow.

Yes, it's great isn't it? It's not the kind of thing I usually watch. I only did because Steve Pemberton from The League of Gentlemen is in it, and I usually like anything any of them are in.
Sarah Lancashire is brilliant. I hope her character is ok after what happened last night.

I am really enjoying it but wish Sarah Lancashire would not mumble so much it is difficult to hear what she is saying sometimes.

Tissy, I agree, I enjoy this Drama & Sarah is a great actress but I am, at times struggling to hear what she's saying in this.

This is harrowing to watch but with the superb cast, the brilliant scripts and the locations (Yorkshire of course!) it's the best thing I've seen on TV for many years. Can't wait for the next 2 episodes.
