I am not looking to all the football coverage during world cup. football is not my thing but looking at tv schedules it is going to be difficult to avoid it , might have to take the dog out more because no doubt OH will be glued to tv.

Despite falling out of love with football some time ago I do still get excited at the World Cup and will as ever be following and wishing England the very best of luck as I do in every major tournament they play.

One can't help but feel though they'll need more than their fair share of it this time round. This is the first England team in a while where there appear to be a distinct lack of what one could deem world class players.

If you have a computer then use iPlayer and other "catch up " services to watch programs.

It has never been easier to watch programs and NOT rely what is on TV at the time.

I too live in a sport and soap free zone. Always find something else to watch or just switch off and listen to the radio or CDs

The country seems to be awash with money. People are going out, buying DVD box sets then putting them in a cupboard to be forgotten about.
