Just saw a trailer, where she accused Rolf Harris of sexual abuse.
Anyone else seen it?

I haven't seen it, so I'm not sure - but couldn't it just be that none of these ladies were planning to make a formal complaint? Are they now hoping to increase his sentence? I wonder whether they are simply giving their own stories now that the truth has come out?

I don't think you can get compensation if your case hasn't been heard and proven. It won't just be given to everyone who mentions it now.
The reason I'm a little less sceptical, is because i posted on here on a Jimmy Saville thread about how he had been a bit lecherous and creepy to me and my sister (early teens) at Stoke Mandeville hospital, before asking us to go with him to see his office. We didn't and i really hadn't thought about it since. It is only after everything else came out, that it even seemed relevant. It's just a personal confirmation - not an attempt at getting money.

Surely why someone would keep quiet would be a natural tendency to try to forget unpleasant experiences and put them in the past ? As for why they might choose to speak out now, that could be down to the prevailing environment of disclosure. Not saying folk could not get publicity by making a claim and jumping on a "bandwagon" but I don't think that should be the first assumption.

Surely tv presenters are trained in how to deal with the unexpected on live tv, such as a sneezing or coughing fit that can't be helped.
I'm sure Feltz could have thought of a reason to move a few inches away from Harris

but you can. Organisations like the BBC & NHS wont hold rigorous investigations into every claim. The BBC has already paid out 140 people over J. Saville claims, I believe. Solicitors are 'advertising' for more 'victims' to come forward.
