know the names of these films (2)

1- 2 young american school kids make a machine in their garden shed that i think makes them older (from appx 12 - 18) one of them then falls for their teacher. Mite be wierd science - not sure ?(made in 80's)

2- war film - group of soldiers on gaurd in / near a wood and near a castle - prob WW2 (very vague i know)

3- group of school kids baracade themselves in the school gym hall (some sort of protest i think) other school kids help by chucking food to them through gym windows ???

3. This film is called Its Great To Be Young , made in the 1950's starring John Mills  also a young Richard O'Sullivan among the schoolkids . Great song over the opening titles sung by Ruby Murray ( those of you old enough to remember her!). It still turns up on TV sometimes.I don't think todays schoolchildren are much like the ones in this film!!

2 - There must be loads of films that match this description! However, my guess is The Keep: a bunch of Germans find themselves trapped in a castle with something. The film gets rave reviews, but I found it tedious. I even watched it a second time, having read the excellent book it was based on, assuming that I must have been mistaken in my initial assessment!

1 - Not Wierd Science. I don't know why but I have a feeling you might mean My Science Project, though the description doesn't match.

This is the first film - 14 going on 30 - before the days of Jennifer Garner and the very similar film 13 going on 30.

I loved it when I was younger and as my dad owned a video shop I was able to watch it every saturday night for about six months....how sad!

I bet if I watched it now it would be terrible!
