Emmerdale, Priya's New Man

Why is Jai dead set against Priya's new man? I know he was unhappy about the arranged marriage thing but he came round and only seamed to take against him once had knew who he was.

They obviously have history but do we know what it is yet? I have missed a few episodes so wonder if it's been mentioned.

He double crossed jai in a business deal 8 years earlier which cost him a lot financially...

He has had business dealings with him before silliemillie and he ripped him off,doing some unscrupulous things,so he does not like or trust him.
