Old Film Starring Robert Culp

This is going back a bit, I saw a film where the Robert Culp character was a quiet family man in quite a nice suburb who for some reason had to turn vigilante, and revealed himself as a trained fighter, to everyone's astonishment. Can't think of the title, or much else about it, except I think it ended badly for him. Does anyone remember it?

I believe the movie you're looking for is called "OUTRAGE" which was TV movie here in the US that aired in 1973. He turns vigilante but he's not revealed to be a trained fighter, just a guy who gets pushed too far. The movie doesn't end badly for him but does for a '56 Chevy Nomad... :)
