I found a wasp on the pillar this morning .
It was moving across it at a leisurely pace , and did not seem alarmed by my presence .

I opened the window and chucked it out .

Now i'm thinking, did i commit murder , by not ascertaining whether or not it could fly

I thought that they had to prove that you intended to kill the wasp. Anyway the don't have a body so can't prove that the dead wasp is actually dead.

The only good wasp, is a dead wasp. IMO.

Could they have me on manslaughter then ?
waspslaughter maybe.

I hope you haven't killed it, Baz....if you have it will have released a pheromone that will tell every wasp for a ten mile radius that.....Baz has murdered me!.....and the wasps will now be gathering nearby....many, many wasps.........☻
That's a swarming thought!

Oh my lord gness .
Will it be like the Zulus massing over the hill , before they charge thunderously for my house ?
Similar, Baz...but sadly you won't have the warning of the thundering ..... you will turn around.....and there they will be....:-0
I'm with chrissa1 here...death to all wasps !

I don't believe the law of murder applies to species other than our own.
So if you see any little green aliens on your lawn you are free to shoot them (never mind lowly wasps).
You've actually managed to avoid being charged with kidnap and false imprisonment under the new Freedom To Roam (Insects and Creepy Crawlies) Act 2014 which has just been passed.
They know their rights y'know.
I hope you killed the little sod - they're nasty, vicious things
I'm not keen on slugs....but I can't kill them. Wasps help keep the insects and larvae off my veggies....and they're quite useful in the growing of grapes for wine.....so please don't kill wasps...... :-(
Hmm, I can get wine and fly spray from the same supermarket, gness.
If they stay in the vineyards then fair enough, otherwise....pssssss.
And if one day, Douglas....there is only fly spray in the supermarket because all the wasps have been murdered.....by Baz?....☺
They have Cornish minority protection down here as to our apples and grapes, hence our brilliant cider and vinos....
Beer I suppose, gness
Hmmm....it's the yeast that the wasps help provide, Douglas.....no wine...no beer...no...............just fly spray.... Slainté.....:-(
