Just heard this sad news. He was one of the great TV villains and will never be forgotten by kids who grew up in the 1980's.

Aww I remember him, how sad :o(

ah, that's very sad.  He was only 65 as well.
He was only on the radio the other day talking about the grange hill days and that he still does public apperances .  How sad.
Older ABers will also remember that he was Herr Grunwald, the officious German site boss in Dusseldorf in the very first series of Auf Wiedersehen Pet in 1983 - he was very good, too, helped by the fact he spoke fluent German.

He played Admiral Ozzel in The Empire Strikes Back too and also several different characters in Dr.Who.

RIP!

I still hold him responsible for what happened to Danny Kendall though! RIP

I was just looking st his filmography here,

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0790410/

and he played Hitler FIVE times, in difeerent shows/movies.

I can't make my mind up which character was the most evil, Hitler or Bronson!

I was surprised that he was only 65.  Mr Bronson must have been about 60, and that was 20 years ago.  And Mr Bronson was desperately trying to look younger by wearing that ridiculous wig.  So a 45-year-old actor was pretending to be a man who was 60 pretending to look 50.  Good acting!
