Have been watching this pleasant, informative and amusing series since it started but last week the actress playing the pathologist seem to have changed. She looked similar but something was not quite right. Is this part played by another actress now.

There has been two pathologists in the series. The original is Dr Julia Ogden played by Helene Joy. As the storyline progressed she and Murdoch get romantically involved but difficulties means that she puts an end to it and goes to work elsewhere.

She is replaced by Dr Emily Grace, played by Georgina Reilly.

It's the hair (or more likely wig) it sometimes appears different in colour and length.

I have seen every episode since it started, but am thoroughly fed up with the repeats. With regard to the wigs, I am sure their hair would have been much tidier than shown. Untidy hair is the modern way. In those days it would have been far more sleek.

The latest series (series 8) premièred in Canada in October this year so hopefully it will be shown in the UK soon.
