.......will be 'The Nation's Favourite Queen Song' (ITV 9pm) but which of their great songs will complete the top 3?

Personally my 3 fav Queen songs are; 1) LIAR, 2) HAMMER TO FALL and 3) TIE YOUR MOTHER DOWN, though i doubt any will feature in the top 10.

I will hazard a guess that These Are The Days Of Our Lives will figure prominently if only because of the accompanying video.

anyone ever figure what boh .rap was about?
I'd be surprised if We Will Rock You or We Are The Champions aren't in the top three. My favourite is You're My Best Friend because it reminds me of summer '76

they were crap, imo.
My faves,
Keep yourself alive.
March of the black queen.
The Prophet's song.
Mine would be Stormtrooper In Stilettos, but I don't anticipate that getting anywhere in the poll!!
Svejk - maybe you are confused, the post refers to Queen, not to No Doubt - feel free to revise your opinion.
Thank you jordy. That made a welcome relief from the bloody drilling that's going on in my hotel - why do they have to start at 8am in the morning?
who's no doubt?

weecalf; Freddy is on record as saying he doesn't 'know' what the song means. "Rhapsody is one of those songs that has a fantasy feel about it. I think people should just listen to it, think about it and then decide for themselves what it means to them" Freddy quote.

Freddy wrote many lyrics in which fantasy played a part; "Oberon and Titania, watched by a harridan, Mab is the Queen and there's a good Apothecary man come to say hello", for instance:-)

Jordyby @ 13.57; headphones on and volume at '11'. That was the first Queen sing i ever heard - i put side 2 on first by accident - and i think that not only did the song showcase their individual talents, it was also a foretaste of things to come with the constant change of tempo, etc.

And if you put that on just to get best answer.....................it worked:-)

Didn't the lyrics make that obvious ?
I quite like some of the less well known ones. I only ever bought 'Night at the Opera' and 'Sheer Heart attack' but I have soft spots for '39' and 'In the Lap of the Gods'. Actually a like rather a lot of their tracks, truth be known.
