I think it is under review, last week the whole process was put on hold whilst the status of Zimbabwe was examined. When the courts decide that Zimbabwe is a 'safe country' then deportations can start again.
Question Author
deportation of failed asylum seekers has been halted. Those who did not claim asylum (did not face persecution ) are still being removed. So makosi can leave...she has not problems in Zimbabwe. Unless of course she can invent one now!

This is a bit of a non-story.

Makosi's work visa was cancelled when she gave up her nursing job to go on BB, which is why she has been asked to leave. She is currently appealing and I'm sure she's had other offers of work, which will allow her to stay in the county.  Apparently she has had access to immigration lawyers since leaving the house, so I wouldn't expect her to be leaving the country anytime soon.

Question Author
makosi is in breach of her conditions for having chnaged from student nurse to going into BB house. This is an offence and hence illegal in law. Her visa is thus probably cancelled and she has asked to leave. She cannot now change her visa when in the country. If she has job offers then her employer (not makosi) has to apply on her behalf. She has to leave the country and if her work permit application made by her employer is successful then she has to apply in Zimbabwe to come and work here on that work permit. She cannot switch when in the country and that is the rule. So she has to leave. Bit of a non story???.....lets see how it unfolds.....But then some are born greater than others.....
I'm sure Makosi will think of some amazing(and untrue) story to get around it all.I hope I am never unfortunate enough to be nursed by her! Wouldn't be a lot of paient / nurse trust there now would there?

They say Makosi is appealing.I think thats a matter of opinion.

Question Author
matter of opinion??...when you have conditions attached to your stay and you know very well that breaching those could invalidate your visa then what grounds is there for appeal. I wanted to go on Big Brother......that will look good on your appeal wont it.
I believe derekblue used "appealing" as a synonym for attractive.

nice one derekblue
she was arrested by police for not wearing a seatbelt in her sisters car, and then handed over to imigration officials who cancelled her work visa and ordered her to leave the UK. She has 10 days to appeal and is doing although has also pubicly stated she doesnt care about this country anyway as she feels she would get better experience when she leaves to do nursing in third world countries instead

"Evicted" rather than "deported", surely.

Question Author
Twiglet....not wearing a seatbelt is not an arrestable offence. She was probably arrested for immigration offences and not for the seatbelt episode. Hence the journey to the police station, 4 hrs in a cell, fingerprinting and the order to leave the country.
I expect the police who stopped her loathed the woman as much as the rest of us.The seatbelt charge was just an excuse! Well done lads! As you may have gathered I am not a big fan of Maloko.
But surely the important question is...Will her hair stay here?
