I watch the results show but find the overly long pauses announcing who is through extremely irritating so I don't watch that bit.

Pretending it is a live results show, even to the extent of making Darcy change her frock, is ridiculous when surely most people know it is not live. That is why voting closes mid Saturday evening !

They don't pretend. They just call it 'the Sunday show' because it is broadcast on Sunday
