I couldn't agree more - the song was complete rubbish in 1984 and is now at a point (in fact it has been for many years) where the song annoys me; it offends my ears. I know this is completely irrational, but I can't help it. I haven't heard the new version, but if its even half as bad as the original, then it will be ***. As the increasingly pious and absurd Bono is so...
Maybe they want people to purchase it instead ans so haven't made it available to MTV etc. I don't think it's available on some music sites such a s Spotify either
Maybe because it's Krap and has been flogged to heaven and back over the 30 years. It was awful first time around and it had not improved over 30 years. By all means support charities and if you wish, donate money to the Ebola Crisis Fund, but why buy this song... again!

As the increasingly pious and absurd Bono is so concerned, perhaps U2 could pay the amount they've saved by offshoring their tax arrangements.
