I googled also..just out of curiosity from this thread and nowhere does it tell where his son Callum was born, I would think, given the baby was premature and so poorly, Chris Hoy would have liked to mention the good work of the staff at the hospital where was cared for. Maybe in time they will

If it was Manchester and the baby was so premature, it's possible it might have been St Mary's in Manchester.

11 weeks early isn't as rare as you would think, very premature babies are little miracles....... what does surprise me a little is that 21 years after this hit us square in the face they still talk about the viability term of a prem baby at around 13 weeks.... my daughter is 21..... she was 14 wks 3 days early....

My friends son (Bradley Neil...totally deserved) was in the top 3 for the YSPOTY...he's been incredible !!! The victor was well deserved though :)

My friend was like a kiddie in a sweetie shop ....all night it was selfie upon selfie then he got one taken with Chris Hoy....I didn't realise he was a man mountain...for some reason I thought he'd be a lean mean fighting machine....NOT at all...he's muscles upon muscle and tall !!! Bet he's a short *** after all this :) I ought to have checked !!! I shall report back very soon !
