Song in Bruce Almighty

ok, there isnt much to go on here, so if anyone can help me, i would realy appreciate it. basicaly, theres a song in bruce almighty which i have heard so many times but i can never find out who it is. it's on when he realises the error in his ways in the ,ovie, and does things like shake the other reporters hand and give him his job back. during the verse it goes "I gotta be honest" and then, at the start of the chorus it goes" And I..." and they drag out the I, but i couldnt make out much of the lyrics. sorry, i know that was an awful request, but hey, ill be suprised if any one comes up with an answer! thanks, luke
