It seems the Clarkson, The BBC and Top gear were being honest when they said the plate was coincidental. Looks like the Argentines would not listen to reason. Just watched this and the actions of the locals was disgusting. Just thought you'd like to know the truth.

I watched this programme (under duress I must add) and I'm of the opinion that it WAS a set up. Earlier, a comment was made by the puerile Clarkson along the lines of "Chile owns all those islands over there but Argentine want them", adding, but I'm not getting into all that ( or something very similar). IMO he's a complete idiot. It was like watching a play put on by 13 year old boys. The BBC also go down another notch in my esteem (not many downward notches left)!

so, horseshoes, the argies have form in claiming things that have belonged to someone else since before argentina even existed, I see, I think it is valid to point that out.
Could be worse; they could have stopped to do step-ups on the Belgrano memorial, as a riposte to this guy…
