I thought it was okay.....wonderful on the eye but maybe aimed (however accidentally) at people who had read Benson? My Sis, who hasn't read the books, had trouble following it and I thought it was too mixed up with too many non original additions (eg the painting being copied from a photo). Slightly a waste of the material, the actors and the staging.
Wonderful. I hope there's more to come. Not sure if I'm enjoying it more than the 1980's one. Prunella Scales was better, for me, as Mapp, and as Is said before, I loved Nigel Hawthorn as Georgie. But, they're all doing a magnificent job. Sorry it's ended.
