If you have had the 1 month free trial of movies, and are thinking of renewing at £9.99, ypu could get it for £6.66 if you subscribe for 5 months. I don't think the offer is advertised, here is what I just did...

The end of the trial and they wanted £9.99 per month to continue. I pressed the button not to renew, and then the button that said are you absolutely certain you do not want to renew and I pressed don't renew. Then they wanted me to fill in a little survey asking why I was cancelling which I did. I pressed another don't renew button, and then they came up with a final offer, 5 months at £6.66 a month. So I renewed.

Thanks Gromit. I really have no use for any films at all. I just want to watch the iplayers on my large flat-screen TV. I hope I don't have too much trouble from Now TV when I refuse all subscriptions, as I did when I cancelled my SKY package ! They rang/emailed dozens of times !

The NOW TV gizmo will be with me at the end of the week. Is it easy to set up and use ?

Easy to set up. What package did you get?

1. On your computer, go to Nowtv.co.uk and open an account. Make a note of your user name and password.

2. With your box you should get a pass ticket. Scratch off and enter the number into your account

3. Plug box in TV via HDMI.

4. Use settings to connect to your broadband router.

5. You should see the apps for iPlayer and OD channels. You can use those immediately.

6. The Nowtv app is also there. You will need to log in with your password and user name to watch SKY stuff.

7. If you have a tablet or smart phone, you can watch nowtv on there. You can register 4 devices, and use 2 at the same time. Your friends can use it, if you give them the login details.
