Amazing how I can block out things like that. Just saw something in the papers today itemising milestones in the life of Deirdre.
Anyone else forget things like this?

I remember when it was a serious soap and not full of silly characters and storylines.

I'm surprised how many people are shocked by her death considering she smoked more than a diesel transit van on a cold morning

Not saying they do, but smoking that many fags even after having cancer isn't the wisest thing to do, hence why I'm surprised so many people are shocked she died.

I can strangely remember a scene with Elsie, suzie (Birchel?) and I think Gail.
One of them was ironing a shirt.........................what's really odd is I think I was about 10
