On Pointless tonight, during the round on royalty, Richard said that King Malcom of Scotland killed Macbeth and went on to take the throne.

No, he didnt. Macduff killed Macbeth.

It really irritated me.

Depends which Macbeth. In the play it is MacDuff The real Macbeth was killed by the future King Malcolm

I was basing my irritation on the Shakespeare play. Shakespeare got it wrong then, did he?
Shakespeare only knew what he knew then.....

Well, you could knock me down with a feather! I wondered why Alexander didn't pull him up on it.
Of course, being English, I know nothing of Scottish history but I have learned a few things on AB today......not least...keep your mouth shut unless you have googled. :-)

I was always getting upset or annoyed by some moron or other on the TV. I came up with perfect solution. The TV was unplugged and has lived in the wardrobe for a few years.

I watch some catch-up TV but that is it.
