I was watching BJD the other day, and something puzzled me. It was the bit where Bridget meets her Mum in the department store and her Mum complains about her marriage, and says something like "I do this, do that...and I raised his children" - has Bridget got any siblings? "children" implies more that one child to me...or am I being picky?

I noticed that too.  Throughout the film there's nothing to suggest she either does or doesn't and I can't remember far enough back to the book.  Maybe she does.

I am sure Bridget has a brother in the book, but I am not sure he appeared, or was otherwise mentioned in the film.

yes indeed - Bridget has a brother called Jamie, who is 37.

my favourite film of aaaaaaaall time and i think that every time i hear it in the film but i have never read the book,so that is why i did not know!
