Did anyone else find that this new comedy was ruined (yet again) by the over-use of stupid canned laughter?

Certainly did plus also the name dropping of "delboy" . I`ll not be watching that again

Canned laughter apart, I thought it was a lot better than some the "comedy" the BBC has churned out over the last few years and keep commisioning for second, and sometimes third, series( My Family anyone???).

And you have to expect at least one Delboy mention ( only hinted at by the way ) for goodness sake, which I actually thought was quite humourous.  Not as bad as I thought it would be.

the real test come with episodes 2 and beyond as the setting is now a world away from the peckham that we knew and loved in only fools.they eased us in with mentions of delboy, the driscoll brothers and an appearance from denzil but now they have to go it alone in a fish out of water style comedy.

i doubt it will work but my fingers are crossed.

Does anybody know when it is repeated?  Sorry I refuse to buy TV guides.
dont think it is repeated, its on fri. bbc1 at 9pm, It was better than I expected

If you refuse to buy TV guides, how about the Radio Times online?
