Drop the likes of dick clemant, ian le frenais, john sullivan and eric chappel a line, and see if they will get back to you...some of these guys will find time to reply to you because at one time or another where in the same position so can relate to you...

Email the likes of the bbc and agents and showbiz lists...

Thanks...I spoke to Jesse Armstrong recently, co-writer of Peep Show, as I was interviewing him for the paper I work for, so such links may be useful I guess...good advice anyway, ta v much.

There's plenty more that a little Googling will produce. Don't forget that sitcom writing is highly competitive and although I don't write sitcoms, (I do write for other comedy genres), I can give you some advice.

Firstly, if you don't think something you've written is funny. No one else will.

Don't be discouraged if people turn you down or in some cases are down right rude about your work. It happens.

If you believe in it, keep at it.

And most of all, Enjoy it!
