Does anyone remember the case from a few years back of a mother with a handicapped child who was eventually driven to murder/suicide by the thuggery of a neighbouring family?
Some of them even had the effrontery to appear on TV smirking and saying it had nothing to do with them.
No Mrs O. Last nights was a couple who bought a barn to convert but the woman next door was a nightmare. A young Irish girl moved in with her boyfriend and in this small apartment block was a nutter called Judith who terrorised her. Also a dopey woman and 5 kids moved from town to country, bought a dog for the kids, but dog kept going onto nearby farm land. The fence they put up to keep dogs in consisted of pieces of wood. They got rid of dog but kept one of its puppies then bought two more dogs. All the dogs kept getting out, still no proper fencing. Sad end, the farmer shot two of the dogs.
Fusion, thanks for that.
I know the story I am referring to (set in Whitby, and I know all parties concerned) is due to be aired imminently. I was just wondering if I had missed it.
Sandy, I remember that sad case. Unfortunately it wasn't the first, and it won't be the last
I saw a little of that, Fusion....the one with the dogs....I was stunned.....
When the dogs killed all the farmer's birds and one brought a dead one home did I imagine that woman saying she couldn't see the problem as it wasn't going to eat it??? May have misheard as the sewing machine was whirring...x
That's correct Gness. Though when the first dog they had, got onto farmer's land and he said killed 140 of his pheasants, the didn't have no blood on her, which was a fair point.
The so called fencing was a joke. If they had put a proper 5 or 6 ft fence up it would not have been a problem.
Some people are just mental, others are nasty, and some are both. They are incapable of coming into contact with other human beings without causing some sort of conflict, deliberately or otherwise.
If you are unfortunate enough to live next to one of them, or even a whole family load (not uncommon), then you have my deepest sympathies.
I find these programmes very distressing and always give up watching them. I feel so sorry for the decent neighbours who have to put up with such hostility for no reason at all. I've had bad neighbours in the past, but thankfully nowhere near as bad as the morons on these programmes.
I remember the case of the handicapped child too sandy and it broke my heart at the time.
