Watching last night, felt it jumped about a bit. One minute you are watching a scene where something is about to happen, then quick as you like it's gone into another scene then returns back to the other scene, strange.

the BBC clearly believes we have the attention span of slugs, and cannot concentrate on anything more than 10 seconds long.

Although I said exactly the same, I then thought that it was a way to indicate that several things were happening at the same time...all with equal importance. Or, the editor had been on an "arty-f@rty" course!
I think it was because not only were the two scenes happening at the same time,but they were related...Demelza acting as a go-between,and needing to tell the truth to Ross's cousin Francis...too late as Francis wanted revenge on Ross,and had already joined forces with George Warleggen...the Warleggen bank demanding immediate payment of loans...sending all the backers into debt.
I'll stick my head above the parapet and say that I think Poldark is totally over-rated, and I'm not comparing it to the original as I never saw that.

I agree with you Zebo, nothing to write home about.

I wish they had made another series of The Paradise, that had me glued to the TV.
