I'm not a major fan of the series but I watch it every now and then, last week I saw the final episode for the 1st time and the question is what happened to Rachel and Ross' baby Emma?

seriously, nothing. She's still around, with Rachel. It's just quite handy that they don't seem to have to look after her that often. The reason she wasn't with Rachel on the plane was because Rachel's mum was going to bring her a few days after Rachel had settled in in Paris. Highly plausible, and I'm not at all ashamed that I know all this...

Here  we go, In series 3 they did a flashback episode and Rachel was in the coffee house which was a bar then and her friends said One year from today you will be Mrs Barry Farber. And Ross also found out in this episode that Carol was a lesbian. Got all that?

Then in the very first episode Rachel barges in to the coffee house cos she has left barry at the alter, so that episode is one year after the flashback , right?

so then a few episodes in Carol goes to the museum to tell Ross that she is pregnant. How can that be i they split up over ayear ago?

I did read somewhere that when the actors in Friends were pregnant or looking for adopted children the viewing figures went up, but after they were born the viewers lost interest in the children.

It seems that the children took a back seat after they were born.

Serious case for the social services to be involved, don't you think? Their were often episodes where they were all together and there was no baby!
