WOW! I have just sat absolutely riveted to this brilliant new show, but am being bugged by the fact that I have seen the actress who played the wpc, who was first at the scene of the accident, recently in something completely different, but can't for the life of me think where....any ideas?....but WOW what an excellent series this is gonna be!

Can't help with the WPC, but my 'what-have-I-seen-her-in' was the mother, 'Oonagh'. The actress' name is Cavana or Cavanah but I forget her first name, and IMDb doesn't have a full cast listing for this yet. Any ideas?
Aha !! Good old BBC.
From the Radio Times site;
PC Rowena Banks - Chloe Howman
Click on the name above for her IMDb listing - you should then see which programme you recognise her from, Babs.
Thanks brachiopod! What is it with Footprints in the snow, casting three women from the same show Life Begins! She played Helen who worked in the travel agents...but I didn't know that she was Karl Howmans' (Brush Strokes, Flash ads) daughter...I met Karl Howman once, what an arrogant little man!..oh well, bang goes my christmas card this year!...thanks again xx
I have been sooooo confused recently! I was meant to be talking about the golden hour, but just stated about footprints...It's just that they went out fairly close to each other and 2 actresses from Life Begins were in one and another from Life Begins was in the other one! MASS CONFUSION there folks! sorry
I think that "the golden hour" is reasonably good, but I think its a bit too modern for what its based on, its good though, having said that I'm only into Casualty and Holby City, (can you believe it!)
I give it a 6/10
too many flashbacks, there are more than there are people speaking in the present, the climax at the end was good though
