In my opinion, (been in the trade at EVERY level)
Very sloppy, common as muck (effin and jeffin all the time) proper 'Manc' accents! Cringy and embarrassing, and don't appear to embrace change! If I was the owner, after watching this..... I'd sack 90% of them!

I 'enjoyed' watching it too, have watched whole series....BUT... Attitudes in some areas are 'sloppy' and unprofessional!
It's definitely not worthy of its 'stars' and the breakfast chef needs a kick up the ass. (Imo)
I love it too - 'Manc' accents , who'd have thought it!
Its hard to believe that the owners allowed some of that episode to be shown, as they would have had the choice of seeing it before its broadcast.

Curly I agree about the breakfast chef, big mouth showing off for the cameras, and where was his hat?
I've been enjoying it, it's very true to life.
I liked Maria, she was a force to be reckoned with, think they'll regret not listening to her.

I agree with trt. If the breakfast chef spent more time cooking there wouldn't have been a problem with the new plates, he spent most of his time showboating to the camera...and failing miserably !

Well..... There are 'manc' accents and there are people from Manchester, I was born and raised in Manchester, and have never spoken like that in my life!
It appears many of the 'stalwarts' just don't like 'change' or indeed people drafted in to try.
The place is an embarrassment competed to some of the more modern efficiently run establishments around.

I like the series and having spent the last 22 years in Manchester, also love the accent. The majority of Manchester people are absolutely lovely!
Thanks Tizzi x
I agree with some of the comments on here regards sloppiness/ not embracing change and swearing.
I have a Manchester accent by the way. I love to hear all different accents.
