Aaargh - can't think of the name of a film set in the desert - 19th century or so - British army prison - made in the 60s - lots of hardman angst - absolutely brilliant - my favourite film - except I can't remember what it's called!

I think the film you are looking for is called The Hill.It starred a young Sean Connery,Roy Kinnear and Ian Hendrie........hope this helps.
