Why didn't soppy Jane just phone the Police and ambulance at the time she found Lucy and just say what happened, then we wouldn't have had to endure months and months of 'who killed Lucy' and now it's started all over again grrrrr

He doesn't think he did kill her, Jane told him Lucy was ok.
Jane took Lucys body to the woods and covered for Bobby by not reporting it as she didn't want Bobby to get into trouble. Bobby was then told someone else had killed Lucy.
