He used to be good back in the day but then again, so did BBC radio. The only time I listen to BBC radio is when I`m driving down the A303 and their signal is the only one that I can pick up.

Can't bear him, large ego. Why is his show the big one? It's the same every day so don't listen any more. The most entertaining is Lisa Tarbuck on Saturday evenings.

I've no idea where Wrighty got the phrase "serious jockin" from but he repeats it endlessly every bloomin show like a demented idiot. It's not funny, or meaningful, it's just damned annoying. Please replace him, BBC

I have radio 2 on all the time and enjoy most of it, I really like Simon Mao and Johnny Walker. But.... if Steve Write says 'seriously jockin' over and over this week, for the first time, I'll turn over!

He us seriously over-doing the 'Serious Jockin'' part of his Friday show.

The concept is great - good banging party tunes, but to constantly refer to it, and the play jingles referring to it as well, is well annoying.

That and his constant 'love the show!' greetings as well.

Alex Lester is the best DJ on R2, but hardly anyone hears him as he is on at night.

I agree with everyone here about Wrighty - he used to be good.

Haven't listened to Steve Wright for years.

I know it is at an ungodly hour but if you get the chance listen to Huey Morgan between 3 and 6 am on a Saturday morning. Excellent music, no stupid jingles, no inane chatter, just an introduction to the track in 15 seconds and let's go.
(I believe he is also on Radio6 regularly but don't know if it is the same kind of programme).

Wrighty does what he's told to promote the radio station. Agree about the overkill on the jockin slot. The Sunday morning slot is recorded after his wed or thurs afternoon slot, and it shows. He must be goosed and fed up of it by then. Be careful what you wish for. The BBC are dying to get that creep Ross on full time. Craig Charles is ok by me. And as for that git Mayo I put the CD on every time.
