Did anybody watch Most Haunted last night - what did you think? It took place in 30 East Drive, Pontefract, and the house is allegedly haunted by one of the most violent poltergeists ever.
I found it quite frightening and can't wait till part 2 next week. Also looking forward to the return of Most Haunted Live on Halloween.
what I had in bag will forever be a secret Tony....It was very spoooooky Tiggs....lots of knocking whistling...swinging light fittings...cold blasts of wind in my face... felt someone sit down next to me on a bed....lengthy time on a ouija board talking to an Irish airman..he had the hots for me..would not speak to anyone else !! ..see...still got it !! lol
...."for entertainment purposes only".....in other words - forced to make a statement mocking their own spiritual/religious beliefs since they are refused the same rights as other religions. Can you imagine, say, "Songs of Praise" being forced to state the same before it started the show ?
That said I've see a few "Most Haunted" and been most unimpressed. Nothing clearly not set up deliberately, all highly suspicious.
Very intriguing and I must hunt down the most haunted footage and watch it. I'm wondering if this is the same house I heard talked about in a Radio 4 interview some years ago: the owner was troubled by a 'child' running a toy car across the landing and doors at night. Also, the loft hatch was stuck totally fast - workman came and couldn't shift it - as she shut the door to him and turned round, it was hanging open..........
If you look on the British Geological Survey maps the location is at an interesting intersection of rock types including coal measures, so I wonder if settlement and released gases have a role to play.
