Whatever happened to Jimmy Nail ? Does anyone remember "Spender" ?
I used to enjoy that but he doesn't seem to have been in anything since !

I loved him in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. I based a lot of choices of boyfriends based on how much they were like Oz. (Looking back, they were awful, but that was a long time ago.)
I don't know what's happened to him since.

I enjoyed all his TV appearances ! I have just looked up "Spender", and apparently he co-wrote it with Ian La Frenais !

Nail seems to be multi-talented and its a shame we no longer see him on the telly.

I loved JN in AWP, it was wonderful - and he has developed into something of a Renassance man since then - and a litigious one! He has sued a couple of papers for untruths about his behaviour on TV sets.

Would be nice to see him back again, if he feels like it.

As much as I admired the concept, I never actually parted with any money for it. Also saw the live performance on TV. The effort to 'promote' a product sometimes diddles them out of actual sales.

There's some music which, if it didn't exist, it would need to be invented but you would still only need to hear once to appreciate it. We only pay for music we think we will never tire of hearing.
