There was little information that wasn't already known about him, and not much music.
Have watched Priscilla being interviewed about 3/4 times the past week, and their daughter has never been mentioned, unless she didn't want to talk about her.
It was a fantastic documentary about the early life of Elvis, well written and well presented. As I was a teenager in the early seventies he was already a bit 'old' for my tastes (his jump suit era) but seeing the footage of his early work I saw a different side to his music. What I didn't know was that he was only married to his wife for 6 years then died four years after that -I thought they had been married a long time before he died.
I liked it although Priscilla annoyed the h@ll out of me presenting herself almost as his widow rather than the woman who walked out on him, taking his child. Elvis singing American Trilogy always reduces me to sniffs.
Haven't seen all of it yest, but he was reknown as a very generous person, and only left 5.000.000 dollars (can't do the dollar sign!)
Love American Trilogy, love Elvis !!
I thought it was very good .He obviously loved his mother very much .
Love Elvis and as a girl at school we had Elvis scrapbooks .
I think he was manipulated by that Parker guy.So sad he died so young but I share his birthdate ,just the day not the year :)
Watched some of it as I do like Elvis but Joanna Lumley annoying a lot of this has been featured before, Priscilla, lady of the manor, and she was the cause of his heartache!
