Does Anyone Remember This Book?
2 Answers
It was published I think in the 1970s, at least that is when I read it.
It was about a young girl who had a bad riding accident at her local riding school and completely lost her nerve. She then took on a mare that had been badly treated and the story is about how they rehabilitated one another. It was a lovely story (kids / teenagers book).
I cannot remember what it was called and I wonder if anyone else does please?
Thank you.

It was about a young girl, who, at the start of the book was given the worst horse in a riding stables to ride. Next thing she knows, she wakes up in hospital after a bad fall. Then someone gives her a mare that has been really badly treated in the past, and by rehabilitating the horse, she finds a new friend and at the end they ride to the rescue of someone (can't remember exactly what)! Think the mare is possibly called Lady but not dead certain on that one. I would really LOVE to read that book again!
