Jonothan Creek Episode involving death in a garage

No idea which series this is from. There was a death in someone's garage and Jonothan sussed how it was done without anyone supposedly being in the garage - they didn't knock the wall down and rebuild it and didn't leave by the door. What actually happened?

(I haven't put this in with the post re the question about JC series 1 + 4 which is below as it may not be in one of those series)

I think I remember this oone, wasn't it the one where a man carrying a woman over his shoulder ran into the garage, but when they opened the door there was only the woman lying unconcious on the floor?

The "man" was actually the unconcious woman dressed like a man and the "woman" was an inflatable doll dressed as a woman.

When the "man" got into the garage she stripped off her outer garments, deflated the doll and stuffed the garments and doll into the paint tins which were in the garage and lay down and pretend to be unconcious. Voila no man in garage.

That may not be spot on but the paint tins were the answer.

Oh fantastic - that's it, thank you!  It's been bugging me for absolutely ages now and everyone I ask hasn't seen the episode.

I think you're also confusing the garage episode with the guy who locked himself inside a bunker (beneath his house).  When they broke in he was gone.  It turned out that he committed suicide by bricking himself up behind a wall - I think it was to frame someone, can't remember.
