Anyone watching this new series with characters from Dickens novels, it is good if you are not familiar with Dickens but I find it too mismatched prefer the real Dickens stories.

I think it is a nice idea.

They are making it a sort of "soap" (though in a good way).

Makes you realise how many phrases Dickens gave to the language - Scrooge (for a miser) is one and "Bah Humbug" for people who don't like Christmas.

I am sure there are others.

Nice to get back to some kind of normality isn't it. To be honest I'm itching to take the cards down but I have my daughter and family for a new years day roast so I will leave them up till that's over.
