How appalling is saturday night tv. turned tv off and played scrabble instead!!!

Last night's offering was extremely dire, clara, unless of course you are into such programmes as The Voice and that inane Take Me Out - No likey, no watchy. I had stockpiled some recorded programmes for just such a 'rainy day' and only returned to the main channels for MOTD - and only then because Burnley won 2-1:-)

Weekend tv is atrocious, when I used to watch, it always seemed they had forgotten to switch over from Childrens tv.
These days I listen to music, much better.

It's always dire! We catch up the V box, we saved to much stuff over Christmas it'll take a lot of Saturdays to catch up. New series of Young Montelbano on too.

I watched the United game... so wasn't too concerned about... Ice skating on wish you could sing etc... seems I missed a lot.

Couldn't agree more, it just gets worse. Left the TV off, and listened to the radio - something I'm doing a lot more these days

The only programme I watch on a Saturday night is Casualty. I much prefer the radio.

I save my recorded tv for Saturday nights. Last night it was Endeavour and Father Brown.

Good for your Clara, playing good old fashioned Scrabble! I can't bear the way people's lives are run around TV these days - mine included, but I at least try and have a couple of TV-free nights a week!

I record things in the week and watch them on Saturday. Also record Young Montalbano. They seem to put all the good things on one night - Sunday's and Thursday's are difficult. Benidorm back tonight.
