I liked him in Friends and now that Clarkson has gone , i might even be tempted back to TG ; although Evans can be a bit irritating at times

It will all depend on who are the ''additional Top Gear cast members'' and what is the new format ( if any )

Evans has a Car Review in Event Mag, (Mos) you have to get past the first 3 to 3½ columns of how great CE is before he even mentions what car he is driving.

I Liked him in Friends, apparently the most intelligent of the cast. Hope TG still has the humour it had with Clarkson, Hammond and May... otherwise back to repeats on Dave.

Interesting choice.

I won't be watching, I never liked Top Gear - Last Of The Summer Wine for petrol heads - because I have zero interest in cars, find Richard Hammond creepy, James May odd, and Jeremy Clarkson bombastic, although he is a fantastic writer.

But for fans, the three are seriously big shoes to fill, and I hope CE doesn't take a bath on this.

Having a collection of, and enthusiasm for cars, doesn't necessarily mean he will chime with the audience for this iconic show.
