Anyone else looking forward to tonight's finale ? One of the best series I have seen for a long time.

Return to Cairo might be too dangerous for the tree-man!
enjoying it but it is nothing like the book which i think is much better

I haven't read the book Birdfeeder, but it's true they are usually better than the film adaptions
May have to catch it on 'catch up'.
Easter guests and all that.
The plot is a bit stale compared to today's dramas but the acting and production are very very good.
I'm watching it on Catch Up but just can't get into it. Too much time given to a woman choosing what underwear is best.

Should I persevere?
I cannot wait either.
Well after everyone talking about the programme my husband and I have just caugth up with it in the last two days.. Except for the first one...but confused therefore so please can someone help me.. Is he an agent like 007 .? If not how did he get involved.? At times with the music I kept thinking I was watching a new James bond film... he is very good.

It's long and complicated to explain. But I agree with you. He is rather good , and easy on the eye !
I enjoyed every minute.
It was brilliant.
He wasn't a spy to begin with. He was an army man employed as a night manager in a Cairo hotel.

I find The Guardian's tv reviews excellent and here all is explained for the first episode:
